WRAP UP MBFWA
Well that's a wrap! Mercedes -Benz Fashion Week
Australia wrapped up Friday night with the HELLO ELLE event, it was a nice
touch to say goodbye to another successful year of fashion whilst welcoming a
huge icon to our shores, that's right I'm talking Elle Magazine.
Fashion Week certainly brought on it's best as
the new location of Carriage Works was a buzz all week with International
buyers, Celebrities, Magazine Editors and Fashionistas. All up throughout the
week I reported on 26 shows for eBAY, and each show handed me something
different. While some designers dropped hem lines to the knee to create long
and lean contours others went micro with shorts. The slouchy harem style was
made present in the Camilla & Marc show, while Maticevski delivered
structure and pure sophistication. The Designer that surprised me was Suboo
with it's almost mature collection, far from the beach vibe they delivered in
2012.
For individual reviews check out my blog posts below, but here are the trends we saw make a statement this
MBFWA.
