Elysium Premiere hit Sydney last night with stars Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley walking the black carpet to help promote this American science fiction action film.
Elysium is written, co-produced and directed by Neill Blomkamp who previously directed District 9. The movie is about a futuristic world where the wealthy live in a space station orbiting a wasteland earth. The cast also includes
Jodie Foster, Alice Braga, Diego Luna, William Fichtner and many more. It was a whirlwind trip for Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley after two delayed take off attempt at Los Angeles airport. Local celebrities that walked the black carpet last night were Timomatic and partner Talia Fowler, Robbie Farrah, Laura Csortan, Casey Burgess, Greg Inglis, Glenn and Sara McGrath.
Elysium hits cinemas around Australia Aug 15.
