Heel to the Pavement

Now this was a fun event to be involved in - Venus Embrace Stiletto Relay which took place at Circular Quay on the 28th September and I was lucky enough to Host this LIVE event.

Hundreds of Sydney women turned up to partcipate in this Guinness World Record attempt for the first ever 4 x 100m stiletto relay. For our great sporting nation to set a new official world record, all that was required is teams of four sprinters, with beautifully smooth legs in high heels measuring at least 3 inches, Needless to say a few hair mens legs attempted to take part, but alas we took the guinness world record home.

Participants also on the day were supporting a cause which is close to many hearts. Venus embrace, who is platinum partner of the national breast cancer foundation, made a donation for every woman who entered in the race to help fund essential breast cancer research into prevention and cure. An estimated $1000 was donated thanks to all the participants.

First team winners took home $10,000 and runner up teams won $200 - $100 vouchers from Peep Toe Shoes.

Special quests for the day included Erin McNaught ( official event scrutineer ) Lyndsey Rodrigues and Sophie Falkiner.
