Carla Zampatti Kicks Off MBFWA

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2014 kicked off last night and Carla Zampatti was the perfect designer to lead the fashion pack. There are not many designers that can pull the fashion "IT" crowd, but last night was proof that Carla Zampatti can. For those of you without a true understanding of what the week entails, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia is a yearly event held at Carriage Works in Sydney,  inviting the country's brightest and biggest designers to showase their Spring / Summer Collections to the Fashion and Media Industry.

Carla Zampatti's 49 years experience in the industry certainly showed as her dynamic pieces strutted down the catwalk. Models wore futuristic perspex headgear and leather strapped heels. The outfits were a mix of flowing dresses ( Carla's staple ) and divine cut out body-con shapes, structured lines and angelic cuts. The colour palette consisted of white, black, red, blue and a citrus neon lime. A collection to suit every girls need.

Spotted front row - Kate Waterhouse,  Lindy Klim, Emma Lung, Zac and Jordan Stenmark, Paula Abdul, Nicole Warne, Margaret Zhang, Bianca Spender, Rachael Finch, Ruby Rose, Jesinta Campbell, Dami Im, Neil Whitaker, Melissa Hoyer, Edwina McCann, Terry Biviano and Anthony Minichiello... The list goes on really.

My outfit for the opening was - Nicholas Navy Coat, Nicola Finetti Dress and Tony Bianco shoes
My make up was Model Co.
