Sometimes I think we get too caught up on a dress having only one look. After much thought, I decided that today I would take a dress that you'd normally consider to be a cocktail/evening and one that you would pair immediately with heels and a black jacket and turn it urban street. 

Change up those point stilettos and add a flat ankle boot or heel ankle boot for added height and leg definition. A shoe can transform an outfit, so by playful and always try all shoes with any look. A simple denim shirt tied around the waste adds an instant level of casual. I just love how this look is such a mixture. It's a great option for the weekend, change heels and you're ready for that fancy dinner for two.
