Ahhh Autumn! I've always loved dressing for autumn and winter more then summer. I like the ability to layer up and use different textures and colours to their full potential. Even though the start to autumn has been an easy transition, we can't ignore the fact the climate has become cooler and these storms that we are seeing sporadically appear are another "in your face" reminder.
My look today sums up my autumn dressing nicely. Leopard shorts, mixed in with a light weight knit and a oversized coat. Ready for any temperature! Now is the time to start investing in those trusty jumpers and knits, these really are your go to pieces for the next few months. Not only are they easy to style for both casual, work and evening they can also really give that winter look a little edge. Choose pop colours, funky textures or a great oversized boyfriend cardigan, but never forget the great warm toned basics. This knit is a classic 3/4 sleeve with pointelle detailing, looks great teamed back with leather pants and denim for winter.
