The Veuve Clicquot Diary - Day Two

Waking up in picturesque paradise today! Is it just me or when you're away from home you have the best undisturbed sleeps. Yes it helps that the bed was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow!! This morning started with a Veuve Clicquot brunch by the lake at Pier 19. Who needs coffee when you greeted with flutes of Veuve.

Due to the weather ( or should I say gale force winds ) we were unable to head up the mountain to the Veuve Clicquot snow bar, but fingers crossed we will be up playing mini putt putt in the snow tomorrow, alas we had the afternoon off to enjoy and try the world know Amisfield Winery. Needless to say the wine and food lived up to it’s reputation. A beautiful afternoon.

As the sun went down we were driven out to a private estate know as “The Crib”. Don’t let it’s name fool you. Jaws dropped as Veuve Clicquot cars pulled up to let the VIP guests out. A grass media wall awaited followed by flowing Veuve Clicquot, live tunes by well know Auckland DJ and guests mingled around the lavish estate that even had it’s own lake and sculptured hills. I’ll let the images take you on the journey.

Stay tuned for more Veuve Clicquot fun tomorrow.
