The Cointreau Creative Society launch

Musee de L’Orangerie Located right in the heart of Paris in the Tuileries Gardens and renovated in 2006, the Musée de l'Orangerie offers the visitor a poetic and artistic presentation of two prestigious collections. Water Lilies (Les Nymphéas) The ultimate expression of Claude Monet's artistic ideas, an incredible project by a painter who wanted to explore all the variations of light in his garden at Giverny. The Walter-Guillaume Collection The Walter-Guillaume Collection, the intellectual project of art dealer Paul Guillaume and his wife Domenica, is a unique collection illustrating the creative work of the first decades of the 20th century. The building(ship) was built in 1852 to shelter during winter orange trees decorating the garden of the palace of the Tuileries.

This building not only had you captivated by it’s beauty on the outside, the inside also left you speechless. Some know the Musee de L’Orangerie for it’s history others due to it being used as the backdrop  by the hit TV show Sex and the city. I dare you to know this scene off by heart. Anyone? everyone!

Toinight Cointreau chose the Musee de L’Orangerie as the location for their grand event, The Cointreau Creative Society launch. The night included artists a like body painters, opera singers, dancers and photographers. All woman to embody the history of the brand. In the middle of the room was A Cointreau Fizz station where you could learn how to create the famous Cointreau Fizz cocktail and how to garnish like a pro.

Ambassador and newly appointed creative director for Cointreau Laetitia Casta shined in an Aeelia creation and still looked exactly as we remember her from the icon YSL adds in the 90’s. Laetitia has been brought on as creative director and had a big say in the artists chosen for the night. In her speech, she talked about originally turning down the job, but later hearing of the history and the strong connection with women that the brand has held over the years, and then she was eager to partner up.

Guests mingled among the incredible works from the artists, live music echoed throughout the Musée de l’Orangerie, while squeals of delight came from the Cointreau Fizz station. It was certainly a night to remember.

Thank you Cointreau
